In 2014, I started teaching entrepreneurs how to sell their services in the online space. I’d quit my high-flying corporate job as a top sales performer because the stress of maintaining top performance, long hours (and endless client drinks evenings…) had thrown my body into overdrive, blown up my immune system and made me resent the life I’d built that I thought I had wanted.

Your traditional sales funnel

When corporate companies are spending over £3 BILLION per year on external suppliers… and paying them the real value for the transformation that they provide… there’s a huge opportunity for qualified service providers to sell their services into corporate organisations.

(a genuine question I had in March 2023 when running a training session) Honestly?

I’m not entirely sure. After all, if you have to do more work to get paid less… surely it’s a no brainer?! But – I’ll hazard an educated guess at why most entrepreneurs avoid selling B2B.

1. They used to be an employee (and hated it!): This is a very common and real reason that most entrepreneurs think that they don’t want to sell to corporate organisations. However, selling to a corporate company as an external supplier gives you a very different experience than being an employee. Typically, external suppliers are seen as valuable outside perspectives; their advice is valued, they’re paid significantly more and they don’t ever have to deal with office politics…

2. They’re worried that corporate companies won’t buy what they have to offer: Again, a totally valid concern! Entrepreneurs typically think that only traditional business functions can sell to corporate clients. But it’s very different now! Inside The C Suite ® we’ve got menopause trainers, fertility specialists, self promotion/ visibility consultants, personal branding experts, nutritionists and a host of other interesting experts selling successfully to corporate clients alongside traditional areas of expertise like communications consultants, project managers, change and transformation experts, accountants and more. Embrace growth and leave sunk cost fallacy behind

Now here’s the thing…

I know what it’s like to invest in ‘another’ course. And I know that if you’re reading this and you haven’t jumped in yet, it’s probably down to one main reason.

Or the last time you and your spouse fought about asking for directions on a long car journey because ‘it’s probably just around the corner’ and you didn’t want to stop, take stock and ask for directions?

That’s sunk cost fallacy. And it has no place in your business. Because let’s be real together here… if you haven’t got the results you wanted to by now… what’s going to change if you don’t?

Nothing.

Which means that if you’re not happy with your financial results right now and don’t change your sales strategy? You’re not going to be happy with them in six months time.

And if you’re always getting ghosted by clients after submitting proposals now – and you don’t change anything? You’ll continue getting ghosted (and losing business!) in six months time.

Is there any live / direct support from Jess?

The C Suite ® is a fully accredited self study learning programme. There is a private Facebook Community for participants where Jess occasionally runs pop-up sessions but there is no direct / sustained access to Jess during the programme. You get all of the strategies, templates and sales techniques, full access to the portal and full access to the Facebook Community group for networking and staying accountable and connected with other participants.

Will I have to use social media to get the best results from The C Suite ®?

No. The C Suite ® Self Study does not teach social media strategies for B2B sales. Social media use is not relevant for best practice business development and whilst there are content prompts available in the portal if you do want to continue using social media, but it’s not necessary for generating B2B sales.

Will it definitely work for me?

If you’re motivated, willing to learn and follow the clear instructions in the portal and you’re a service based business owner who will follow the metrics, advice and strategies then there’s no reason to think it wouldn’t work for you! Is there a way to upgrade to get 121 access with Jess?

There are rare slots to have one-off calls with Jess that are only offered to The C Suite ® participants. These calls are not integral to your success in the programme – and 90% of our participants never use upgraded access! But if you did want to book one of those slots, you can approach #TeamJess when you join and they’ll be able to advise you on any upcoming 121 sessions.
